Metadata helps us to collect and map the relevant information for the waste management operations. Before starting a project (and even in-between) all the data like bins, open spots, POIs, etc can be marked, collected and mapped onto our GIS application on a real time basis which helps not only in understanding the infrastructure set up in the city but also in tracking the ‘assets’ or ‘areas of concern’ against a set benchmark. This helps in various aspects such as:
- Mapping of assets and their locations along with capturing of schematic data
- Tagging of assets
- POI allocations
- Route preparations
The form on our Metadata app is highly customisable as per the need of the hour. Using our app, initial data collection exercise can be completed within 20-25% of the current time taken for manual data collection. Simultaneously it increases the efficiency multi-fold apart from reducing the cost and time by almost 60-70%.
